Can we stay and enjoy the lake after we check out at 12:00?

Yes! If you have checked out with the camp host and the site and facilities that your group used are clean, you are welcome to keep your vehicle in the parking lot and use the beach and bathroom facilities as long as you do not impede the new groups arriving.

How many people can each site hold? Which are the biggest sites?

Camp Na-Bor-Lee’s rustic campsites are not like standard campsites at other National Park Service campgrounds. Each site is large and open and can fit up to about 25-30 people, depending on how crowded you want your site to be. The largest campsites are #1, #3 (the main site with the covered picnic shelter and amphitheater), #5, and #8. These sites may be able to fit slightly more people, while the other sites, may fit slightly less. We recommend no more than 3 RV’s at any one site, if there are tents also.

Which sites have electricity?

Camp Na-Bor-Lee is a rustic camp that does not have full hookups. We have water available at each site, but no hookups are allowed. The only site that has electricity access is Site #3, and this is only to be used for campers with health needs. The picnic shelter has electricity for use for groups and their educational programming. There is no charging of RV’s or electric vehicles, nor are electrical cords allowed to be run from any structure to tents. Before any electricity is to be used, you must gain access from the camp host.

Are fires allowed at Camp Na-Bor-Lee?

Campfires are allowed in approved fire rings only. Typically, fires are allowed through June, but once the National Park Service and/or Steven’s County enacts a fire ban, we are subject to those restrictions.
